on galleries with lots of photos (nyc tango fest), the scroll bar to control the thumbnails does not seem to be working properly...I had to mouse down over the bottom thumbnail and scroll slowly, but I couldn't grab the scroll bar and jump to the end or anything...
for large numbers of photos...a grid thumbnail view might work better...
hope this helps a bit...
